While one might think that ABC would have been willing to get as many people as possible into its upcoming comic book series Marvel’s Inhumans, the network somehow kept almost everyone in the dark on what to expect, deciding not to publicly release the first trailer after it was revealed. Thankfully, that’s all changed, and a new and improved final cut of the trailer has finally hit the ‘net. And guess what, guys? It. Looks. So. Good. Get to watching down below!
Everyone will have two different ways to experience Inhumans whenever it’s released, as the first two episodes will be exclusively shown in IMAX theaters starting on September 1, with ABC set to properly air the show on a weekly basis starting Friday, September 29.

A collaboration between Marvel TV, IMAX, and ABC, Inhumans looks set to be a television event unlike any other when it debuts this fall. However, everything we’ve seen from the show so far has really divided fans as the costumes and casting decisions have split opinions in a major way. The first trailer also leaked online and failed to impress, so will the real deal make much of a difference this week?
We’ll find out on Thursday because it’s been confirmed today that it’s then we’re getting the first official trailer for the series. Whether or not it will differ to the one that leaked online a while ago remains to be seen, but based on this teaser it appears we should forget about seeing anything new.
The wait is almost over. This Thursday, check back for the first trailer from “Marvel’s #Inhumans“! @theinhumans pic.twitter.com/phelZa5TCb

The first two episodes of Inhumans will be screened in IMAX theaters and the plan is then for those and the subsequent six instalments to air on ABC.

Almost a year and a half ago, word came out that Kevin Bacon would be part of a new Tremors TV series. He was expected to executive produce and reprise his role of Valentine McKee from the 1990 film with Fred Ward. Bacon has recently confirmed that the pilot is going ahead and it has found a home at Syfy:
“We are going to do a pilot for Syfy. It’s the only character I’ve ever played that I was interested in exploring 25 years later. It is a really good movie. I don’t go back and watch my movies but because we were doing this one, I had to go back and look at it. It’s just the idea of this loser who is living a very ordinary life and has an extraordinary experience with these monsters and becomes, for a moment, a hero.”

When the news first came down the pipeline that FOX was revisiting it’s popular series The X Files, feelings were mixed. Did we (the fans) really need a revisit of the 9 season series, and the two films? Of course, the network went with “yes”, hedging all it’s bets on the returning core cast and crew to bring back the viewership masses.
Despite a poorly received first episode of X Files: The Return (which fans have called season 10 even though the show did continue officially and canonically in comic form for ‘season 10’), the other four episodes were semi-ok entries into the heavy mythology and lore of the series. Of course, series creator Chris Carter‘s episodes were the weakest of The Return, but former X Files writer Darin Morgan is returning for season 11!
Darin is responsible for some fan favorite episodes such as “Clyde Bruckman’s Final Repose” (where we find out Scully is immortal, kind of), “Jose Chung’s From Outer Space”, “Humbug”, and season 10’s no slouch episode “Mulder and Scully Meet The Were-Monster” (which he also directed). Darin is the brother-in-law of another X Files writer, Glen Morgan, who is also on board for some scripts in the 10 episode season 11.
Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny are also both returning to their roles as Special Agent Dana Scully and Special Agent Fox Mulder.
The X-Files returns sometime during the 2017-2018 season on Fox!

Hey! Sometimes i can believe and wish upon rumors to!
While some TV shows are only popular while they’re airing, there are some small screen adventures that are cult hits, only continuing to grow in populartity in the years following the original run. And director/writer Joss Whedon has the distinction of creating multiple cult hits, such as Buffy the Vampire Slayer and his massively popular sci-fi adventure, Firefly. While the latter only ran for one season, Firefly has continued to remain in the lexicon of nerd culture and TV history, eventually inspiring Whedon to create the 2005 film Serenity to continue the show’s narrative. And the droves of fans should be super happy today, as three of Firefly‘s leads recently reunited, and there’s a picture to commemorate the occasion.
While the Firefly community would have been happy to enjoy the image Nathan Fillion shared on his personal Instagram, the Castle actor proceeded to tease the fandom with possible reunion talk. While Fillion didn’t explicitly confirm this possibility, his caption reads “What do you want to believe we talked about?”. Fillion seems all too familiar with how excited the fans would be with the photo, and how the rumors will likely fly regarding a reboot of the popular sci-fi series. And with all three actors enjoying a certain level of notoriety, it certainly seems like good timing for Joss Whedon to produce new Firefly content. Although he’s probably a bit too busy making various changes to Zack Snyder’s Justice League at the moment.
The three actors pictured in the above reunion pic are also extremely busy. Morena Baccarin is a series regular on FOX’s Gotham, while also starring in the Deadpoolfranchise as the title character’s love interest. Alan Tudyk just made waves as the delightful droid K-2SO in Rogue One: A Star War Story, as well as a lead role in NBC’s cancelled comedy Powerless. And Nathan Fillion is set to appear in the second season of Netflix’s A Series Of Unfortunate Events.
Let’s just hope that one day we will see the Serenity fly again!

After a short battle with leukemia, the great Adam West was sadly taken from us a week ago. He leaves behind a body of incredible and often hilarious work, but there are still a few projects which haven’t yet been released. One of those projects was an episode of NBC’s Powerless, which sadly never aired after the series was cancelled. Adam West played Dean West, chairman of Wayne Industries, as he visits Wayne Security in order to make some cuts for the good of the company. As a small tribute to Adam West, DC Entertainment and NBC have released that episode, entitled “Win, Luther, Draw,”.
It’s on YouTube for a limited time, so check it out while you can down below, Movie Geeks!

Expanding on the History Channel’s are aliens real programming, Back to the Future creator Robert Zemeckis has penned a deal to develop Blue Book, a series based on the original real-life U.S. Air Force investigations into UFOs. This would mark History’s fourth foray into scripted programming (following Vikings, Six, and Knightfall).
The real Project Blue Book ran from 1952 until 1970, and Zemeckis is sticking with that era and following various adaptations of investigations from that time. The 10-episode series will follow Dr. J. Allen Hynek, a professor recruited by the Air Force’s lead investigator for Project Blue Book. Episodes will mine actual case files, weaving together theories with history.
A&E president Paul Buccieri in a statement: “Blue Book is inspired by the true covert events of an era in American history shrouded in mystery. Robert Zemeckis and the creative team have shaped an incredibly compelling narrative, building upon History’s unique, growing brand of fact-based scripted programming.”
