THE INCREDIBLES 2 Details Revealed!

IGN caught up with Disney Pixar chief John Lasseter at D23, where he confirmed that The Incredibles 2 will pick up right where the first one ended! Here’s is what he had to say:

It starts right as the first one finishes, so it just carries on,” said Lasseter, who specified that only  “a minute” will have passed between films. “It starts with the Underminer and a big old set piece. You know that at the end of the first movie when he comes up and you see the family dressed as superheroes, well that’s where start this movie.”

Of course this news dashes the hopes of fans who wanted an equal amount of time to have lapsed since the film’s 2004 release.  If you look around the internet, you’ll see tons of fan art for adult versions of Dash, Violet and Jack Jack. Perhaps it’s this very fan anticipation that led Disney and Pixar to go in the oppossite direction?
The anticipated sequel is set to be released on June 15, 2018!

Paddington Bear Creator, Michael Bond Is Dead At 91

Even though Paddington Bear only made his theatrical debut three years ago, he’s been a beloved children’s character for nearly six decades, be it as the star of many books or lead several TV shows in the United Kingdom. Sadly, the man who brought Paddington to life all those years ago is no longer with us, as Michael Bond has passed away at the age of 91.

Publishing company HarperCollins broke the news earlier today that Michael Bond died at his home following a “short illness.” Bond, a member of the Order of the British Empire, is survived by his wife, Susan; two children, Karen and Anthony; and four grandchildren. HarperCollins CEO Charlie Redmayne said the following about the author:

“Michael Bond was one of the great children’s writers and at HarperCollins we are immensely fortunate to have published him and to have known him. He was a wonderful man and leaves behind one of the great literary legacies of our time.”

LaVar, Lonzo, and LaMelo Ball appear on WWE’s ‘Monday Night Raw’ and learn about the dangers of a live microphone!

LaVar Ball took part in what was supposed to be a fun segment with his sons Lonzo and LaMelo on WWE’s “Monday Night Raw” TV show, but the segment quickly went off the rails in more ways than one!

“Monday Night Raw” was broadcast live from Staples Center on the USA Network, and the Balls appeared on Miz TV, the in-show interview segment hosted by WWE heel The Miz.

The ring had four mannequins wearing “Big Baller” T-shirts. Miz introduced LaVar Ball and his son, LaMelo. LaVar got booed as he ran down and slid into the ring. LaVar started hyping the Big Baller brand and got booed again. LaMelo didn’t say anything, but seemed to be having the time of his life.

LaVar then introduced Lonzo, who came down to cheers. He said he was happy to be in Stapes Center for the first time as a Laker, which also drew cheers. That was the end of Lonzo’s participation in the segment.

Miz said he was happy to announce a partnership between himself and the Big Baller brand, and it was at this point that the segment went off the rails. LaVar took over, said Miz wasn’t big enough for them and then proceeded to say things like, “There are only two dudes better than I am and I’m both of them,” and then ripped off his T-shirt and challenged Miz to a fight. This was met with laughter from Lonzo and LaMelo, a junior-to-be at Chino Hills High . Then LaVar ran around the ring.

LaMelo, had a live microphone in his hand and said, “Beat that — “ using a pejorative for African-Americans. He was laughing when he said it and was having fun watching his dad go crazy in the ring. But social media is already picking up on it, so the Ball family may have some explaining to do Tuesday!

WWE responded to what happened with the following: “The inappropriate language used by a guest during the ‘Miz TV’ segment was not scripted nor reflects WWE’s values.”

Check out the unedited segment down below, but be warn because it does contain inappropriate language.

Tom Holland Confirms Spider-Man Cameo In Iron Man 2?

Now there’s a fan theory out there (cue the eyerolls) that states Peter Parker (a.k.a. Spider-Man) actually already appeared in the MCU…and in IRON MAN 2 of all places! The theory states that the little kid in the Iron Man mask during the climax at the Stark Expo is none other than Peter Parker himself! Pretty far-fetched, huh?

Anyway, here’s the scene in question, for reference:

However, here’s what Tom Holland had to say about the theory in an interview with The Huffington Post:

“It is Peter Parker,” said Holland.“It is?” we asked.

“I can confirm that, that is Peter Parker,” Holland said.

“No way, for sure?” we asked again.

“I can confirm that as of today. I literally had a conversation with Kevin Feige only 20 minutes ago. Maybe I’ve just done a big, old spoiler, but it’s out there now,” said Holland. “It’s cool. I like the idea that Peter Parker has been in the universe since the beginning.”

Do you think that little Iron Man was indeed Peter Parker? You decide!
