While we anxiously await another official trailer for Thor: Ragnarok, Andy Park has posted a couple of promotional designs to keep us going. The artwork provide a new look at Chris Hemsworth’s as Thor in his upgraded arena armour, and there’s also an alternate version of a previously seen image featuring Loki, Odin, Hulk and Valkyrie. Check them out down below!

Talk about a new phone screensaver!

In addition, EW has debuted our first look at Hasbro’s 13-inch electronic action figure of The Hulk in his gladiator gear. The toy can interact with a slightly smaller 12-inch Thor figure, and you can check out images of both below.

Um excuse me, Hasbro? Are there going to be any Jeff Goldblum figures in your “movie starring Jeff Goldblum” toy line?

It’s a no brainer *ha, puns..* that if you followed my original movie news instagram page that you would know that my favorite director is of course, Edgar Wright. And one of my personal favorite films from him is the 2004 zombie “romantic” comedy, Shaun Of The Dead. It’s always been a Halloween tradition for me to watch the film during Halloween night and I can quote 90% of the entire film in one sitting! Besides that, one of my favorite YouTube accounts, CineFix , released a video detailing seven interesting facts about the film in celebration of Wright’s new film, Baby Driver! So check it out down below, Movie Geeks! It’s most certainly is a smashing watch!

Star Wars actor Mark Hamill is apparently “speechless” after finally receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Many fans of Star Wars and Hamill had already assumed that he had a star, but in fact he did not and the same goes for the late Carrie Fisher. When Fisher passed away in December fans made up their own star for the actress best know for portraying Princess Leia. In addition to playing Luke Skywalker, Hamill is also known for supplying the voice of the Joker in the DC Animated Universe as well as the wildly popular Arkham series of video games.

Mark Hamill is set to get inducted in 2018 along side 34 other actors including Jack Black, Zoe Saldana, Jeff Goldblum, Minnie Mouse, Nick Nolte, and many more. As far as Carrie Fisher receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, there are restrictions for stars that have recently passed away. That being said, Fisher will not be eligible until the year 2021 at the earliest, 5 years after her death.

Mark Hamill revealed his surprise of the honor through Twitter and the actor often spends time interacting with fans and peers through the social media medium. Mark Hamill truly deserves a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and it’s about time he received the honor. Hamill and the entire cast of Star Wars deserve a star for positively effecting the lives of millions of people the world over. Luke Skywalker is a cultural icon and fans all of over the world should be excited for Hamill. Hamill will return to the big screen as Skywalker on December 15th, 2017!

Take this, shawarma scene!

Marvel’s “Avengers: Infinity War” is now filming down in the Atlanta area, starring everyone under the sun, so you had to know some … likely or unlikely? … MCU connections were going to be made on set. Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow) recently confirmed there are about 62 Marvel characters in the whole thing, including around 32 just for one particular scene. It’s massive. And it’s Hotlanta, so you know the guys are going to be heading out for drinks to relax and cool down.

Robert Downey Jr., aka Tony Stark/Iron Man, just shared a bonding photo with his good pal Bruce Banner/The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), along with the two Benedict newbies from “Doctor Strange,” Dr. Stephen Strange himself (Benedict Cumberbatch, in full goatie) and Wong (Benedict Wong).

Commenting fans are really digging all of the facial hair.

Hey! Sometimes i can believe and wish upon rumors to!

While some TV shows are only popular while they’re airing, there are some small screen adventures that are cult hits, only continuing to grow in populartity in the years following the original run. And director/writer Joss Whedon has the distinction of creating multiple cult hits, such as Buffy the Vampire Slayer and his massively popular sci-fi adventure, Firefly. While the latter only ran for one season, Firefly has continued to remain in the lexicon of nerd culture and TV history, eventually inspiring Whedon to create the 2005 film Serenity to continue the show’s narrative. And the droves of fans should be super happy today, as three of Firefly‘s leads recently reunited, and there’s a picture to commemorate the occasion.

While the Firefly community would have been happy to enjoy the image Nathan Fillion shared on his personal Instagram, the Castle actor proceeded to tease the fandom with possible reunion talk. While Fillion didn’t explicitly confirm this possibility, his caption reads “What do you want to believe we talked about?”. Fillion seems all too familiar with how excited the fans would be with the photo, and how the rumors will likely fly regarding a reboot of the popular sci-fi series. And with all three actors enjoying a certain level of notoriety, it certainly seems like good timing for Joss Whedon to produce new Firefly content. Although he’s probably a bit too busy making various changes to Zack Snyder’s Justice League at the moment.

The three actors pictured in the above reunion pic are also extremely busy. Morena Baccarin is a series regular on FOX’s Gotham, while also starring in the Deadpoolfranchise as the title character’s love interest. Alan Tudyk just made waves as the delightful droid K-2SO in Rogue One: A Star War Story, as well as a lead role in NBC’s cancelled comedy Powerless. And Nathan Fillion is set to appear in the second season of Netflix’s A Series Of Unfortunate Events.

Let’s just hope that one day we will see the Serenity fly again!

After being teased with it last week at E3, we have two gorgeous looks at what is sure to be an item that will fly off the shelves  this fall. I honestly can’t believe that we are getting a Capcom figure from Hasbro right now! This figure two-pack is going to be in support of the new Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite game coming out on September 19. The game looks awesome, and I have very high hopes for it, especially now! The game description, from the Capcom press release, might give us some hints for other figure packs as well:

“The epic clash between two storied universes returns with Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite, the next era of the highly revered action-fighting game series. Marvel and Capcom universes collide like never before as iconic characters team up for action-packed player-versus-player combat. Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite is currently in development and will simultaneously release on the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One, and Windows PC worldwide on September 19, 2017.

Imagined and created through a shared vision between the two companies, Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite will feature a variety of exciting and accessible single player modes and rich multi-player content for new players and longtime fans alike. In addition to single player Arcade, Training and Mission modes, a visually stunning and immersive cinematic Story Mode will put players at the center of both universes as they battle for survival against a sinister new threat, Ultron Sigma. Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite is being built to highlight a combination of iconic locations and fan favorite characters from both universes, including Captain Marvel and Iron Man from the Marvel side, and Ryu and Mega Man X from Capcom.”

Hot Toys are always impressive when it comes to their highly detailed action figures. With Spider-Man: Homecoming just weeks away, more merchandise for the movie has found its way online and the latest is Hot Toys’ Spider-Man action figure. Many of these images first surfaced last week, but also below are some brand new shots of the head sculpt for Tom Holland’s Peter Parker.

Wow, they shrunk Tom Holland!

The figure features a newly developed masked head sculpt with four pairs of interchangeable eye pieces to create numerous Spider-Man’s expressions, another interchangeable head sculpt featuring likeness of Tom Holland, a newly developed body and Spider-Man suit in meticulous tailoring and great details, a pair of magnetically attachable web-wings, a variety of spider-web shooting effect parts and accessories as well as a dynamic figure stand. It goes without saying that this pricey figure is amazing!

The figure will be released in two formats, standard and deluxe. Both versions come with an alternative Tom Holland head, a mask to hold, web wings, headphones, a science textbook, two versions of the Spider-Man Stark Tech, 5 sets of interchangeable hands, 4 sets of eyes, a backpack, webbing, and a stand. If you splurge for the deluxe edition, you will also get the Vulture’s helmet, a hoodie, and a school blazer.
